The goal of this project was to remodel and enlarge an existing 1930’s-era home.  The owner wanted to enhance the “Spanish eclectic” style and reuse several period details throughout the addition.

A new 2-car garage and laundry wing was added adjacent to the kitchen.  The old garage, which was at the other end of the house, was remodeled and expanded as a new master bedroom suite.  The suite features a small wet bar, a stackable washer/dryer, a separate private reading room and a master bath designed with future wheelchair access in mind.
